Just off the A26,
8 miles south of Royal Tunbridge Wells.
Situated on a hilltop, 800 feet above sea level, the area
is one of the highest points in the South East. The Riding
is located at the end of a private road facing South over
open countryside, with distant views of the Downs stretching
from Newhaven to Beachy Head, yet it is only a few minutes
drive from the town of Crowborough – home of Sir
Arthur Conan Doyle of Sherlock Holmes fame.
The Riding is within easy access of Gatwick Airport (17
miles) and there are mainline trains to London from Tunbridge
Wells, Haywards Heath, and Gatwick.
